Our Household

Farm Cottage is a 5 bedroom detached property in the village of Weedon Lois, Northamptonshire. It is located in close proximity to Stone Cottage and is also very much part of the local community within a rural setting. We participate in all local village life and the people we support take an active role in the local church and village hall.

Our Community

Weedon Lois (or Lois Weedon) is a village in Weston and Weedon civil parish, about 5.5 miles (9 km) west of Towcester, Northamptonshire, England. The villages name means 'Heathen temple hill'.

 

There is a well in the parish, named after St. Loys or Lewis, whose waters apparently cured the Blind and Leprous. Before Christianity came there may have been an Anglo-Saxon pagan temple here.

The village has a Church of England parish church of SS Mary and Peter, with the oldest parts dating back to 1100. There is a Church of England primary school, St Loys CEVA Primary Academy, and a pub, the Crown Inn.
